D-Tyrosine

CAS: 556-02-5

Chemical FormulaC9H11NO3

Description:

White crystalline solid, soluble in water, slightly soluble in methanol and ethanol.

Applications:

D-Tyrosine is a non-proteinogenic chiral amino acid with broad applications in chiral drug synthesis. For example, the peptide drug Atosiban, synthesized using D-Tyrosine as a chiral intermediate, is used as a tocolytic agent. Additionally, the synthesized Deacetyllaurencin exhibits antiprotozoal, anti-amoebic, antifungal, antitumor, and plant antifungal properties. Peptide drugs derived from D-Tyrosine also show significant efficacy in the treatment of malignant tumors. Moreover, it is used in the synthesis of anti-inflammatory drugs effective against infections in the lungs, central nervous system, joints, endocardium, eyes, ears, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary system.

Packaging:

Net weight 25 kg per drum, packed in fiber drums.
